THE NO.1CAR NEWS

The new fourth-generation Dzire in India, Maruti Suzuki has gotten the compact sedan crash tested by Global NCAP. The new Maruti Dzire has scored an impressive 5 stars in adult occupant protection (AOP) and a 4-star safety rating for child occupant protection (COP), making it the first Maruti to score a 5-star rating from Global NCAP.

  1. New Dzire scores 31.24 points out of 34 in AOP
  2. COP score is 39.20 points out of 42
  3. Gets six airbags and ESP as standard

Maruti has received a lot of criticism in the past for poor safety ratings of its cars. The Dzire was voluntarily sent by Maruti to Global NCAP for the crash test, indicating their confidence in its safety performance. Global NCAP even tested the previous-gen model as reference. Unsurprisingly, the third-gen Dzire secured a lowly 2-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection; the bodyshell and footwell area were also rated unstable. With the conversation around safety gaining ground in India, Maruti Suzuki seems to have finally paid heed.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire standard safety features

The Maruti Dzire tested by Global NCAP came equipped with six airbags, ESC, 3-point seat belts with reminders for all seats, ISOFIX mounts for the rear outboard seats, and seat belt pretensioner and load limiters at the front. The Dzire also complied with UN 127 pedestrian protection norms. The model tested was made in India for the domestic market

TOP NEWS & UPDATE

The Suzuki e Vitara SUV has been revealed as the production version of the Maruti eVX concept in Milan, today. The ‘born-electric’ midsize SUV is the Japanese brand’s first EV for India and will enter a hotly contested segment that includes the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra BE 05.

The e Vitara will be a global model for Suzuki, produced at the brand’s Gujarat plant, with 50 percent of production earmarked for export to Japan and Europe, which explains why the global debut was in Italy and not India. However, e-Vitara will first go on sale in India in March 2025 after its Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2025, in New Delhi. This will be followed by a European launch around June 2025.

The best NO.1 Honda Amaze all new & Big what all is known so far ?

The best Honda recently released a teaser of the third-gen Amaze and while it was just a sketch, it did end up revealing some interesting details about the car. The new Amaze will get a more angular and hunkered down look, at least from the front, thanks to slimmer headlamps with sharp edges on both corners.

The grille is much larger and will feature a honeycomb pattern that is reminiscent of the latest Honda Civic for international markets. The tall front bumper gets large inlets at each corner that will likely house the fog lamps. A wide air inlet is expected to be seen just below the grille.. As the teaser shows, the new Amaze will get a thin chrome strip that runs right above the grille and merges neatly with the headlamps. Not much is known about the rest of the design, or even its interior, but spy shots of the new Amaze hint at an evolutionary approach to design.
